KIERSTEN BJORK is a professional theatremaker, performer, and reviewer from Branford, CT. She is the Marketing and Communications Specialist for the Branford Community Foundation, an a cappella ensemble singer with the Royal Court Singers, a book reviewer for Booktrib.com, and she does freelance theatre work for the Quick Center for the Arts. Kiersten is also a performer, having worked on dozens of productions with companies such as Legacy Theatre, Seven Angels Theatre, Brookfield Theatre, The Arts at Angeloria’s, Colchester Community Theatre, Shoreline Theatre Company, Theatre Fairfield, and more. Favorite performing credits include Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), Newsies (Race), Joan Joyce! (Young Joan Joyce, Teen Joan Joyce), The Spitfire Grill (Percy), [title of show] (Susan), Footloose (Ethel McCormack), Beauty and the Beast (Enchantress, Madame D’Arque, Ensemble), and A Christmas Carol (Fan, Mrs. Fezziwig, Martha). Kiersten has also worked behind the scenes on many shows over the years, with her favorite being The Great American Mousical at Legacy Theatre, directed by Dame Julie Andrews and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli. Kiersten is a 2021 graduate of Fairfield University, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with degrees in Theatre and English (Creative Writing Concentration), and minors in Classical Studies and Environmental Studies.
