Peggy Nelson is co-host of “State of the Arts” at WPKN Independent Community Radio, (89.5 FM) “the greatest radio station in the world” according to the New Yorker.
She received her theater degree at the University of Findlay and has been active in the theater since.
Acting awards include: Outstanding Actress (Clever Little Lies, Irena’s Vow, Doubt, Buffalo Gal, Later Life, Bad Habits), Outstanding featured Actress (Rumors, The Countess, Love & Pain, Now or Later).
In addition, she is the recipient of Square One Theatre’s Outstanding Contribution Award and the town of Hamden’s Outstanding Woman in the Arts award. She has appeared on television, in educational films and the feature film, “Doing Agatha.”
